This is a single unit of the custom EnviroDIY LTE Bee cellular telemetry module, based on the SIM7080G board with LTE cellular and GNSS (GPS) capability. Sample code for using this module can be found on GitHub.
Each LTE Bee comes with one small LTE antenna and one small GNSS antenna. EnviroDIY code samples currently don’t make use of the GNSS features of the module. Optional high-gain antennas are recommended for use in remote areas with weaker cellular coverage. More information can be found inSection 6.1 of the EnviroDIY Monitoring Station Manual.
We've confirmed that these modules work on UK networks (using a SIM card from Soracom over CAT-M).
