Pioreactor 40ml

This is a bioreactor kit designed and manufactured by Pioreactor in Canada. The Pioreactor is designed for researchers, students and DIYBio enthusiasts to grow, monitor and control cultures. This is the larger version of the 20ml Pioreactor v1.1, with a minimum working volume of 12ml and maximum volume 30ml.

The 40ml Pioreactor kit can be assembled in approximately 15 minutes.

The kit includes the following:

• Pioreactor HAT for your Raspberry Pi
• Heating and temperature circuit board (ambient + 25°C)
• Stirring assembly and 15x6mm PTFE stir bar
• IR photodiodes & IR LED for optical density measurements
• 40ml glass vial, with working volume 10ml to 25 ml
• Custom vial cap with 75mm 304 stainless steel needles and female luer locks for influx and efflux
• All necessary assembly screws, nuts, and standoffs
• Free software updates for life. Pioreactor frequently releases new software features

You'll need a Raspberry Pi, a power supply and an SD card to get the Pioreactor up and running. These items are sold separately if you don't already own them.
